About Us

It was the foresight of sixty farmers fifty years ago that laid down the ground work of what today is known as the Orange Grove Cooperative. Through the years the Co-op has steadily grown from a single two-car grain elevator to a facility with a 390 car grain facility, a farm and ranch store, and dry and liquid bulk fertilizer plants.

In June of 2004, the Orange Grove Cooperative went into partnership to acquire the grain elevator in Banquete, Texas. With the addition of this 784 car grain facility we have now expanded our customer basis and report.

When the Co-op originiated, there were 159 stockholders and presently there are 150 members.
